There were some pretty strict timings to follow, and it was tricky to get the car to look convincing with the short fast shots. I also did all the particle effects, chuck and small bits coming off the cars as they moved in the scene. Also I created a procedural dust shader that was comped over the top of each of the cars. Completed using 3dsmax, then cached and rendered in Maya.

Mark Stewart feat. Factory Floor - Stereotype

Released: Oct 1, 2012 Remixes from Hype Williams, Daniel B. 'Front 242', Perc, Chrissy Murderbot, Italoconnection. Directed by Orla Fokdal Starring: Sebastian Bartz & Cara Cherie Emmanuel-Risch iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/stereotype-feat.-factory-floor/id559736167 Boomkat: http://boomkat.com/downloads/568682-mark-stewart-factory-floor-hype-williams-stereotype An effortless modern pop classic featuring Factory Floor’s Nik Void, ‘Stereotype’ is the second single to be released from Mark Stewart’s recent album 'The Politics Of Envy'. . Already being hailed as the decade’s first long-playing masterpiece, The Politics Of Envy was painstakingly constructed by Stewart as a magnum opus, tracing themes of social decay and alienation in a stunning work of gladiatorial confrontation. Whereas it’s not unusual for albums to feature a roll-call of star guests, Stewart takes the art of collaboration to a different level in his never-ending quest for fresh aural vistas and new ways of channelling the verbal insurrection racing through his brain. Stewart’s partners in crime include Kenneth Anger, Richard Hell, Massive Attack’s Daddy G., Primal Scream, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Slits bassist Tessa Pollitt, and Jesus and Mary Chain bassist Douglas Hart and new bloods Bristol bass kid Kahn and Factory Floor. 17. Autonomia

Autonomia

Mark Stewart vs Primal Scream 'Autonomia' will be released through Future Noise Music on February 20th, a dense agit-protest superfunk monster with sirens and Bobby Gillespie's frenetic 'keeping the dream alive' call-and-response chant with Mark Stewart who explains the story behind the song - "I'd written this song about Carlo Giuliani, who was killed at the G8 demonstrations in Genoa. At that point, it was a protest song... afterwards I started getting on with Bobby and I asked Adrian [Sherwood] about doing it. It's important that people hear about the story, it's the message and the atmosphere as much as anything.' Directed by Douglas Hart (founding member and bassist of The Jesus and Mary Chain) with Dominic Lee & Chiara Meattelli, the video exhibits a raw, riotous & feverish vivacity infused with the artists' trademark punk rock ethos to convey the song's deep political message. "Starting out as a teenager in the late 70s with the Pop Group and thru the 80's with the Maffia up to his new solo record, Mark Stewart has led the attack on conformist reality. Mark is a constant inspiration and a true Thief of Fire. A poet of paranoia and a great laugh. What a guy." -- Primal Scream Pre-order: http://itunes.apple.com/us/preorder/autonomia-ep/id496921744 Mark's official website: http://www.markstewartmusic.com Find Mark on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/markstewartmusic Follow Mark on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/_markstewart
