Trying out the Slate Virtual Tube Collection that came out today.
All I can say is AWESOME. The effect is subtle but it's there. I used the Hollywood, which added some air and a really nice bottom end to my mix. You can hear when the second clip kicks in, the entire mix just feels like it's glued together much better.
Riff is by the great @monroe-vallejo for a song we're working on
Guitars are Kazrog amp sims, and ML Soundlab impulses. Drums are GetGood Drums.
Finally getting used to my JBLs that I got earlier this week. Took a while since I was so used to speakers that were pretty much the opposite of flat. Since everyone liked it, I figured this would be a good, heavy song to do to break them in.
Guitars are Mercuriall U530
Bass is Trilian and secret sauce
Drums are GetGood Drums, the 20 inch kick and Low Snare.
Here's a link to the original:
After a long time of working on songs with @AndrewHickman and delaying things, I finally decided to quickly track one of the songs we've completed to finally have something to put out there.
This is the first song we worked on for our project 'November'. The song has been tossed around and changed for about a year and this is pretty much it's final state (as a demo of course). Expect the full EP to be coming very soon!
I think I might be able to call this song complete, thanks to the massive help of @ezendejas7
For the drums, I wanted to see how GetGood Drums would sound in the context of non-metal, and the results are AWESOME.
